Bridget Kimak


Canadian designer Bridget Kimak has created sets and costumes for theatre and opera companies worldwide.  From the United Kingdom, Italy, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, to the USA and China her designs have been critically acclaimed for their flair, quality, wit and inventiveness.

Bridget’s previous opera productions include Mozart’s Die Zauberflote and Le Nozze di Figaro, for Abo Svenska Teater, Finland; Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia for Den Jyske Opera, Denmark; Handel’s Semele and Rossini’s Il Viaggio a Reims for Chicago Opera Theatre; Wagner’s Der Fliegende Holländer for Bergen National Opera, Norway.

Bridget obtained a degree in Fine Art, before training as a Theatre Designer at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
